Beauty tip #1

I am going to share some beauty tips with u!
It may be some stuffs that you already know but I still feel that I must write them down and to tell you that they are important in part of your skincare routine!

#1 always put on a sunblock / cream with spf when u go outdoors!
This is the most important tip and I always nagged at my friends since maybe at the age of 23 to put on sunblock every single day.

Why is it important? UV rays are extremely harmful to our skin. Not to mention the development of skin cancer under pro longed hours under the sun. You can also develop brown spots and it will cause uneven skin tone. Once you develop brown spots it will be hard for you to remove them!

You will have wrinkle and premature aging skin faster! I am sure none of us will wan to have skin age 40 when you are only 30.

Thus, sunblock or sunscreen is extremely important in your skincare routine. Even if I am indoor I will apply a 30+ spf sunblock. Cos even the lighting in your room can cause damage in your skin over long hours. So ya I am just kiasu and kiasi. :x

I am just writing what I think is important of cos you don't have to follow.. :)

But perhaps you can Google "why sunscreen are important" and see the results for yourself!

Innisfree cream mellow lipstick review part 2

As you guys know I already owned 2 of innisfree cream mellow lipsticks series. I couldn't resist the temptation and gotten another color of the same series. Sobz

Here is the one.... #9 blueberry burgundy

Well I would say it is a challenge for me cos I don't really dare to wear such colors out! 

Ya but I bought it. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo here's the swatch and look on my lip with the color.

Yup. Pardon for the chui skin. Hahahaha....

Review of Tony moly sherbet cleanser

Ok I got this item in korea during my March trip to korea. I heard pretty good reviews of it so decided to give it a try.

It is similar to banila Co's clean it zero, a balm texture of makeup remover.

There is an inner lid for hygiene purpose and I really like the scent of the sherbet cleanser. Very relaxing and soothing to your mind and skin. Hahaha... 

It works just like the banila Co's clean it zero. You scoop maybe a 50 cents size of product and apply all over your face and slowly massage till they melt and dissolve your makeup. 

This is how the sherbet cleanser looks like. Sorry it looks like a mess. Hahahaha.... but ya.

Used the product for about a week. 

If I were to compare this tony moly sherbet cleanser to banila Co's clean it zero. I will say that it does a decent job of removing makeup but it is harder to clean off the sherbet cleanser as compared to the banila Co's. There is always a residual of the cleanser left on my face after washing with water. However banila Co's will be clean off even with just washing with water. (I hope you get what I mean)

So the Tony moly one will only feel clean after using a cleansing foam to wash off. 

Price is definitely a win as compared to banila Co's.  It is around 9k won. (I think, sorry can't remember clearly) it is cheaper. Hahaha

Cleaning effect, well I will still prefer banila Co's due to the reason I mentioned on top. So ya.... it all depends on the user.  :p

Overall. This is not a bad product but you need to ensure u remove the product from your face totally! 

Pls note that I also use eye & lip remover before using the Tony moly sherbet cleanser or banila Co's clean it zero.

Innisfree super volanic pore clay mask

Hi!!!

Today I am going to review on innisfree super volanic pore clay mask!

I have used the mask for a few months now and definitely loving it!!!

My face feels clean and refresh everyone after used. It is a MUST-HAVE  for my weekly skincare routine.

It is mainly for deep cleaning of pores and "sucking" out extra sebum and dirt in your pores! It also helps in tightening of pores and also you will see the reduction of black and white heads on your nose!

It is best if you are able to use it weekly and leave it on your face for 15 to 20 minutes.. remember to apply it on a clean face!

Here is a pic of my skin after applying the innisfree super volanic pore clay mask... I tend to apply thicker layer to my nose or any troubled area...

After 20 minutes....

Wash if with lukewarm water and apply your skincare as usual!

Let's all achieve a pore less and silky face!!! Roar!!!

Laneige Clear C Advanced Effector

I am going to review on Laneige clear c advanced effector!
Ok I have tried to use the product for the past 5 days but all I can say is.... we are not fated to be....

It came in a heavy glass bottle just like the iope bio essence but the laniege one has a pump! You can easily control the amount of essence you want.

It also has a strong berry smell which is really pleasant. I really love the smell!  

The words on the bottle are "92.5% superberry extract" & "crystal clear and hydrated skin with superberry extract 92.5%" & also "for all skin types / 150ml"

There are markings on the side of the bottle and you are supposed to finish the whole bottle within 1 month! 

After using.... I really love the essence but it is not suitable for my skin..  it caused irritation and breakouts on my skin.... sobs. 

I love you~ but we are not fated to be.... 

Ya. After trying out for 5 days, my skin becomes red on the cheeks, irritation and breakouts on the forehead and cheeks. I panicked and switched back to my holy grail - my iope bio essence.... please save my skin!!! :~(

It will be a very good essence if you do not have freaking sensitive skin like me. Thus if you have sensitive skin, perhaps it will be good to test out before buying the product. Qoo10 does sell tester kit. 

Yup. Need to wait for my skin condition to improve before I can try out other stuffs!

High tea at Grand Hyatt

Hi!!!

Went to grand hyatt last sat for a high tea birthday celebration for 4 birthday girls!
First time been there and definitely loving the variety of food available for choice. Didn't manage to take all the pics for food. But these are a few of them that we took.

CNY Preparation

Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Foam

This is the facial foam I have been using for the past 3 months! Sulwhasoo gentle Cleasing foam! It lasts me for about 3 months per bottle! Wow!

I purchased it at incheon airport when I was heading back to Singapore. I simply regret just getting 1 of it because the retail price in sg is at sgd 50 while I gotten it at sgd 30 plus in incheon. REGRET. 

This cleansing form is really gentle for my sensitive skin and the best part is it doesn't leave a dry feeling on your skin.

The cleanser is a gel type cleanser with a herbal scent which I really like! 

I also noticed that my skin condition gotten better, pores reduced, less of the redness and looking more radiant. 

Definitely a repurchase for me! But not in sg.

I must get it in Seoul! Seoul! Seoul! March pls come ASAP!!! 

Banila Co Clean it zero

Hi!

I am going to review on banila Co's clean it zero! I have gotten this makeup remover in Seoul last year. I had heard lots of good reviews about the product so decided to load it back to sg. Hehe~

For the past few years that I can remember, the makeup remover I had been using is bifesta cleansing express.

Until this product came.... and that is Banila Co's Clean it Zero. The one I purchased in Seoul is for sensitive skin.

After using the product, I simply just chunk my bifesta to one side. This has become my new love. Lol~

The cleansing cream is a very interesting texture, it feels and looks like cream texture but when u starts to massage the cream on your face it turns to half oil and cream texture. So it does not feels super oily and does not leave an oily feeling on your face. 

It also effectively and efficiently cleans all up my eyes, face and lip makeup within 1 to 2 mins of massaging. 

I finished the bottle so fast that I am shocked myself. Yes I simply adore this product. Definitely a repurchase when I travel to Seoul this March!  MUST BUY A FEW BOTTLES! HEHE~

IOPE BIO ESSENCE INTENSIVE CONDITIONING

Let me tell you my favourite essence product!
After using this product for 2 weeks, I feel my skin got smoother, clearer and my pores significantly reduce!

My skin type is oily t-zone and dry cheeks with large pores on my nose and cheek.

And my favourite essence is.............
IOPE BIO ESSENCE INTENSIVE CONDITIONING

I have gotten a few bottles of samples from aritaum when I went to korea for holiday during June. I tried the samples and I fell in love with it. As the store assistants mentioned that this is selling like hot cakes so I have to give it a try!

After using up 4 bottles of samples, I decided to purchase the full bottle from qoo10!

This is the first essence I have ever tried. I have never tired SK II before as I feel it is too expensive to maintain as a routine thus I really love this IOPE BIO ESSENCE! It is ranging from S$50++ - S$60++ on qoo10 and korea is selling it at Won 60,000.

The bottle is a heavy glass bottle with a dispense hole on top. The glass bottle can be slippery so gonna be careful from dropping to the bottle onto your feet because it happened to me once. Sobs!

The texture of the essence is very watery. A box of cotton pads will be given together with the purchase of the essence. I didn't use the cotton pad cos I feel it absorbs too much of the product and it will be a waste!  So I just use my normal Watson cotton pad. Hehe ~ the essence really absorbs fast into my skin! 

I am currently applying it as a first step to both my day and night skincare routine and it works really well! 

After applying essence, I will continue with the rest of my skincare routine! 

You are supposed to finish the product within 1 month. There are indications on the side of bottle to show how much of the essence u should use one day. But I feel it is a waste to pump so much to the cotton pad, so I just dispense to half wet cotton pad for my entire face.

I have already purchase my 2nd full bottle from qoo10 and definitely will keep using it unless something else temps me. Hehe

Well there are other products that I am tempted to try! Oops. I will be trying out 1. Laneige clear-c advanced effector and 2. Hera cell essence toooooooo....

Innisfree creammellow lipstick review

Dear you~

This is my first review on a series of lipsticks from innisfree which I am loving them so much!
I don't usually like to wear anything on my lip until I try out this series of lipstick!

I gotten #3 Cream Coral at first and I love it so much and purchased another #10 Latte Brown later on.
So this is a must try if you are looking for a moisturising and pretty lipstick!

For your information, I bought the lipsticks from qoo10 at S$16 each.

There are total 10 colors from this Innisfree creammellow lipstick series.
The best  colors from this range are #3 Cream Coral, #8 Moistful Dewy Red and #9 Blueberry Burgundy

Overall

The package comes in a recycled paper box which is environmental friendly. It is not drying to the lips and I really love it. haha~

My skin condition
I have sensitive skin with dry cheeks and oily t-zone. I also have slightly large pores around my nose and cheeks.

Why I started this blog?
